Silly me thought since school was now out things would slow down some. Ha!
We’ve had 2 birthday parties, a trip to Lowes, grocery shopping, cleaning, setting up a pool, power washing deck & hand washing gutters/fascia/soffits. We even squeezed in a trip to play in the river.

We’re doing some remodeling on the house. We’ve already installed some beautiful white crown moulding and this weekend we finally got carpet picked out. I have no idea what it’s called but it’s in between a berber and a frieze. Berber is what we have now and there was NO WAY we were putting that back in our house. I didn’t care for the shagginess of the frieze. So we picked something in the middle…with a nice plush pad. Should be in in a couple weeks and we hope to get it installed before leaving on vacation.
Dan worked his butt off (thanks honey!) cleaning the outside of the house. It now sparkles pretty white again (no more ugly mold/dirt).
Our deck still needs to be stained, but at least it’s clean!
We also set up a small pool for Kalia. She played in it for a bit but it was still a little too cold. By tomorrow when she gets home from daycare she’ll be ready to jump in (assuming the weather stays warm….never know around here).
