Hard to believe, but Amanda is leaving elementary school behind. She'll be heading into the 7th grade next year! Just goes to show, you blink & they're grown!
We had a busy week celebrating the end of one journey, and the beginning of another.
First we had the 6th Grade Celebration (promotion ceremony). Here they handed out all the awards for the year, along with their promotion certificate. Amanda got awards for Honor Roll & good attendance.
Then on Friday we all headed to St. Louis to the Science Center for a field trip. The girls had a great time. Kalia joined in the fun, and all the kids enjoyed playing with her.
Saturday all the 6th grade had a luau/hog roast at a friend's house. Kalia & I didn't go, since I thought she needed some "down" time from her busy week, but Amanda, Dan & Emilee had fun. There was dancing, water games & just lots of fun.
Wow! So big! Wish I could have been there to see my neice crossover into pre-adulthood :) It is definently hard to believe, but she has turned into a very beautiful and polite young lady. Good job mom and dad!
