It was a WONDERFUL Christmas day!
It’s not often that we get to stay home & enjoy the day with just my kids. This was one of those special years.
Nowhere to go, nothing to do but hang out & enjoy some good family time.
We started off opening gifts & stocking first thing. We FINALLY got Kalia a gift that she LOVES (she’s hard to figure out sometimes). The mini trampoline was a BIG HIT! She also loved her movie & books…and of course the candy from her stocking…girl’s got a big sweet tooth :)
Emilee & Amanda loved their gifts too. I think Amanda’s favorite was her big bean bag chair, and Emilee’s was probably the 1D book & necklace.
After opening gifts we enjoyed the breakfast that my mom lovingly made & sent home with us Christmas Eve. The breakfast casserole & crepes were delish!
Dan wasn’t feeling well so he went back to bed after breakfast. I cleaned up a bit, then watched a Christmas movie, played games with Kalia & just enjoyed our quiet day.
We did something a little different & decided on Mexican for dinner that night. So we enjoyed some enchiladas & Mexican rice, along with brownie sundaes for dessert.
Thought a lot about little Caiden & can’t wait to watch him celebrate his first Christmas next year with his new family!
