On Saturday we attended a small party with some very special guests. Santa & Mrs. Claus made an early stop to deliver presents, read a story & make sure everyone was behaving before the big day!
The kids loved seeing Santa, and listened very nicely while the story was read...but none really wanted to get too close to him (the kids were all 3-4 year olds). There was one little 4 year old girl who sat on his lap during the story, but noone else would have anything to do with him, including Kalia who did her usual screaming fit.
She did, however, take the present he offered and brought it back to open while sitting on my lap.
She's big into Dora right now, so this book with magna doodle thing on top was a big hit.
After Santa left the kids had some snacks then played while us adults enjoyed time together. I wasn't feeling well, so we didn't stay long, but we appreciated the invite and had a great time.
