Swimming Pool....Sauna....Bowling Alley....Ping Pong Room...Exercise Room...Just a few of the amenities we'll find at the Dolton in Changsha. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel....all for around $90/night.
Because of the holiday on May 1, we'll have to stay in Changsha for an extra 2 days. (of course, this is assuming we will make it on the plane by next Saturday & not have to delay our flight b/c of USC!S). Unfortunately there is not much to do in Changsha, but I have found a few things. I know there is a cool embroidery museum that we'll be sure to visit. There's also Mt. Yuelin with many different monuments & temples. There is also the provincial museum that we may check out one day. There are many shops & a few parks close to the hotel. Other than that we'll fill our time with people watching, swimming & playing in the hotel. I know on Saturday we'll be visiting the orphanage, which is a 4 hour drive one way. So that will take up most of that day. I'm sure we'll be busy with Kalia and won't have any trouble entertaining ourselves!
It is a beautiful hotel! You are lucky to get a peice of junck room for $90, here in the states, so that should be nice :)
