Dan picked up the girls from school yesterday and took them out to play on the rocks. It's funny...we've lived here for almost 8 years now and had no idea these big, fun rocks were right in our backyard! They're less than 5 miles from our house. The girls had a great time climbing around, and it gave them some much needed exercise.
On the way back, they saw some camels out in a field
(yes...camels!). They stopped to get a closer look, and the farmer came over to explain. Apparently his friend raises them for sales to zoos and needed to borrow his field for a bit until he could get them delivered. The farmer allowed the girls to pet & play with them for a minute or two. How cool to have camels just down the road! Who says there's never any excitement in a small town?!

That is so cooool! You never see camels in Eldon! :( Quentin would have absoulutly loved it!
