We Survived!

We had one of our typical weekends....busy, busy, busy!!!

Since Tuesday was Emilee's birthday, we chose this weekend to celebrate with her. She chose to play at Going Bonkers, then enjoy lunch at Applebees.

We've never been to Going Bonkers, but heard it was loads of fun. It was a BLAST!!!! The maze itself was HUGE, and had the best slides EVER! It was fun for all ages...there was even a special area for kids under 3. (I couldn't help but think about bringing Kalia here when she gets home). Even Dan & I played around in it for awhile. The slides are amazing! You just FLEW down them! I'm going to have to find one for the backyard!

We played there for almost 2 hours, then decided we were starving.

After lunch at Applebees, we planned to stop and pick up a pizza for dinner (Emilee was going to a friend's house for a birthday/sleepover, but Amanda was having a friend over and we thought pizza was easiest for dinner). While driving to pick it up, we came across a nice little place selling pumpkins. TONS of them. It was a lot of fun to watch the girls choose their pumpkins for carving this year. They had pumpkins in every shape & size....I swear one of them weighed 50 lbs. or more! (Of course this is the one Amanda thought she was going to get....HA!)

(The squirrel was eating corn in one of their baskets....no more than 6-7 steps away from us the whole time. He's soooo cute!)

We came home, took Emilee to her sleepover, picked up Amanda's friend & some snacks, and settled in to watch the Tigers play the Longhorns. They lost....but it was fun to watch!

We had a busy Sunday too, but that's a post for another day. I'm off to get ready for bed. Goodnight!
