Beginning Band

Amanda has decided to play the clarinet in band this year. I played the flute for all 7 years of band, and loved every minute of it (well...maybe not the summer band camp when I had to be on the field at 7 a.m....but all the rest of it!). We live in a much smaller town than what I grew up in, so she won't have all the opportunities I had, but I hope she has fun nonetheless.

I have no idea if she'll continue thru high school or not, but for the price of a clarinet, I told her she was in it for at least 2 years. It just amazes me how much these things cost!
