So yesterday was the Opening Day of baseball, but unfortunately our beloved Cardinals got rained out after only 3 innings. I had to work (Boo!), but Dan was looking forward to watching the first game of the season.
Wainright was our starting pitcher, and he had a rough first inning, allowing 1 run to score, but he recovered quickly to end the inning. Before the game was called in the third inning the Cardinals were up 5-1, which included a homerun by Pujols and 2 run hits by both Ankiel & Molina. Unfortunately none of this will count, as the Cardinals will have to make up this game.

I'm SO glad baseball season has begun! Hopefully they'll be able to pull off the win tonight!
