A Little This...A Little That

Wow! It's been awhile since I've posted...7 whole days! That's a long time for me!

So, what's been going on here, you may ask? We've been keeping fairly busy. Nothing overly exciting, but just enough to keep me away from my blog. (I've been ready other's, for sure, just haven't been posting on my own).

I'll try to recap a few things from the past week....
  • Been busy selling Girl Scout cookies for the girls. (Why do the parents always get stuck doing the selling????)

  • Old Man Winter has definitely been knocking on our door the past couple days! And I think he's around to stay for awhile. Don't you just love unwelcome company?!

  • Had to take my computer in for repair Saturday. Did I mention it's under 1 year old? Apparently the OS needs to be re-installed. It's not hard to do (I can do it myself, so you know it's not too hard), but the point is...it's under a year old!!!! I didn't have this much trouble out of my ancient desktop. Is it just a laptop thing? (This is the 1st laptop I've owned) UPDATE: Re-installing the OS DID NOT work! I had our IT guy look at it this afternoon at work and he is pretty sure it's the video card. Good news...shouldn't (crossing fingers) have deleted anything on the hard drive & it's covered under the warranty. Bad news...it'll have to be sent out to be fixed (approx. 2-3 weeks). How am I going to manage 2-3 weeks without a computer? And it's getting close to referral time :( Boo Hoo!!!!!

  • The girls and I finally got our haircut this weekend. We usually go about 7 weeks between cuts...I think our last cut was in November : ( Much better now!

  • We've decided to do something fun at least once a month this year! February is CNY & Valentine's Day, so that month is covered. We were trying to find something to do for March and came across this...

Needless to say the girls are ecstatic!!!! We've got decent tickets... center ice(?) & about 20 rows up. It'll be a great time!!!!

I think that's about it for now! Hope all is well in your little world!

  1. I used to work at a daycare center, so of course that soundtrack was something we listened to all. day. long. I know every word! My husband about died when I broke out singing "Get your head in the Game" at the live stages how at CA Adventure in Oct. Hey, I couldn't help it-those are some catchy tunes!

  2. My nephew and his girlfriend love that musical! I think the parents sell girl scout cookies cause other grown-ups are the ones who really like (and buy) them. ;)
