We’re baaaaccckkkk!
Our family vacation this year was spent in Nashville. The best thing? We didn’t know it at the time, but the week we decided to go was the same week the CMA Fest was there. What an amazing opportunity! More on that later…
I’ll recap our entire vacation over the next few days.
We started our journey Sunday morning. It was a 6 1/2 hour trip, that took us about 7 1/2. Not bad with a 3 year old…and a teenager who hates to travel
Kalia was AMAZING! She’s always been a good traveler. This year she really took to the DVD player, which kept her occupied for quite awhile. She also did AMAZING with pottying. We’ve been working on training for a year (yep…you read that right…a YEAR!), but by golly I think she’s finally got it. She made the entire trip…there, back & throughout the week…with only 2-3 accidents…THE. ENTIRE. WEEK! It’s been a long time coming, but we made it!
We arrived in Nashville around 5 p.m., checked into our hotel & headed out in search of Mexican food. We found a really good restaurant a couple miles from the hotel. It was DELICIOUS! Wish I could remember the name.
After that we headed back to the motel & crashed.
