We’ve been so busy around here (‘tis the season & all), but we were finally able to get a few things up. I just don’t have it in me this year to go full out decorating, but definitely wanted to get the tree & a few of my favorite things up. (Thanks, hubs, for your help!)
We (meaning Dan) put the tree up on Tuesday last week, and finally got it completely decorated on Thursday night. Amanda is especially busy right now (play practice, track conditioning, etc…) so we had to work around her schedule.
Kalia was not interested in decorating the tree, but did enjoy one of Emilee’s old Strawberry Shortcake ornaments. (Strawberry is her very favorite character right now…with Dora a close 2nd).
She comes home from daycare/therapies so tired anymore that she really doesn’t want to do anything except play quietly by herself or be held.
We still need to purchase their ornaments for this year (we buy a new one for their collection every year)…maybe we’ll do that this weekend. We’re a little late, so hopefully there are still some good ones out there.
Love how the comforting mother in you takes a picture of the crying baby instead of comforting her :) lol
