On Saturday we celebrated Chinese New Year with our local FCC group.
This was a very special CNY, as it was our first celebrating with Kalia. We'd been to many a party before, and have spent many hours dreaming of the year we would celebrate with our little Asian princess. We're so very happy to be celebrating this important holiday with her.
She started out coloring the Great Wall:
Then we watched a wonderful performance by some very talented performers:
This young man did an AMAZING job with the diabolo:
And the Kung Fu show was AWESOME (the best part of the show, in my opinion):

We ended the performance with a lion dance. Even Kalia participated - with a little help from Jie Jie:
We enjoyed a snack of eggrolls & steamed buns before heading out to a local Chinese restaurant for a delicious dinner.
