A Prayer For My Daughter

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray to the Lord as I silently weep.

I pray for my daughter so far away.

I pray she’ll be home, where forever she’ll stay.

I pray that my Lord fills her sweet little head,

Of beautiful dreams while she’s nestled in bed.

I pray for her safety, I pray for her care.

I pray that she’s loved until I am there.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
