Saturday morning found us taking a long-awaited drive to see my newest nephew (Peyton) and family. Although we tried, we couldn't get him to wake up. All we could get was a couple seconds of his peeking.

After that we headed a little further south to Big Surf water park. The girls have been waiting for this day for almost 2 months! I'm not a big fan of water parks...I can take them or leave them. But the girls absolutely love anything to do with water! We spent almost 5 hours there, and they still weren't ready to leave! Dan couldn't make it so we took my sister, Tina. Amanda rode every ride there except the Flume (didn't want to wait in the long line) and she rode the Zambezi Falls twice (would have been 3 times, but Emilee chickened out at the very last second and made her walk all the way back down. They had the raft in the water and ready to climb in before Emilee chickened out. Needless to say, Amanda was NOT a happy camper!) Emilee rode everything except Zambezi Falls (in her defense that ride is a little scary for anyone, much less an 8 year old). Everyone had a great time!
SUNDAY
Sunday evening Amanda had a pool party to celebrate the end of softball season. The girls finished in 1st PLACE!!!! With only 1 loss!! It's always amazing to me to watch them play the last game and notice how far they've come in just 4-5 weeks! They all have really improved...and most importantly, had a lot of fun!
