Baseball Game

My hubby and I finally got a chance to see a MLB game! Yeah!

The best part of the day was the fact that we got some one-on-one time together (those of you with children know how hard this is to work into your schedule!). The worst part was that they lost! Not only did they lose (because, let's face it, somebody has to lose), but they played like crap! I seriously believe my 4th grader can play better ball than my beloved Cardinals were playing last night!

It was 5-0 in the 1st inning, 7-0 in the 2nd inning and 8-0 in the 3rd inning! The Cards didn't score a run until the 9th inning when Ludwick hit a home run. Brad Thompson was pitching, and he's usually pretty good, but man did he stink last night! He made it 4 1/3 innings, but in my opinion, should have been pulled out in the 2nd inning (Guess that's why I'm not coaching. No sympathy here. If you can't do the job and do it quickly, out you go!)

A sad, sad day for all Cardinals fans!

To make matters worse, a couple guys in the office are big Royal's fans...so guess what I heard about this morning.

Alright everyone, that's the first game of the series. Let's all cheer on the Cardinals tonight!

GO CARDS!
