Easter Egg Hunt

This weekend we took the girls to an Easter Egg Hunt put on by a local church. We attend every year and they always have a great time! This year they had crafts (bead jewelry, pinwheels, stained glass, etc...), play, some good Christian music, games and of course the egg hunt. In the egg hunt, they have you divided into 3 groups (2-4, 5-8, 9-11). You find all the eggs and open them up. Some have candy inside, some have coins and some have pieces of paper with numbers on them. These numbers correspond to prizes. This year the girls found lots of candy, about 50 cents in coins and some bigger prizes. Emilee ended up with a brand new bike, a drum pad (lots of noise making this weekend) and Amanda ended up with a $50 savings bond, admission to Six Flags Park and a PomPom animal making book. Obviously, they had a great time!
