It started with a Girl Scout Pink Party Friday night. The girls got to attend a party and do a lot of fun activities including designing a t-shirt, make body glitter and bath salts, have their hair fixed and painted red and do some dancing. I think they had a great time. They held the party on the local university campus and some of the college students volunteered. They really helped make it a fun event for the kids.

On Saturday, both girls attended a cheerleading camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They got to learn some stunts, cheers and at the end of the day even got to do a dance routine. Considering they only got to practice the routine for an hour or so, I think they did pretty well. They get to perform their cheers & stunts at a home basketball game this coming Friday. Both girls are really looking forward to that! (Me, not so much! I'm not a basketball fan at all!)

More to come on Sunday. Since Dan has to work Wednesday night, we've decided to all go out to dinner at Olive Garden (one of our favorite restaurants) tomorrow to celebrate Valentine's Day. Also, since Emilee has been doing, in her words, "super, extra double good" on her school work, we've decided to reward her with getting her ears pierced. She deserves it!
